Thiruvarutpa collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. There is no APJ Aura server for your information to be sent to.
Thiruvarutpa is a reader for the Tamil devotional works of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar. It is published by APJ Aura. This policy explains what the app does with information, and it applies to the app on both Android and iOS.
Nothing. The app does not ask who you are and never sends information about you, or about how you use the app, to us or to anyone else. We operate no server that receives data from the app.
So that it can remember your place and your preferences, the app saves a small amount of information using your device's own storage. This stays on your device. We cannot read it.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it. You can also clear it at any time from your device's settings for the app.
If your phone backs itself up to your Google account or to iCloud, that backup can include these settings, so they come back when you restore to a new phone. The backup belongs to you, and we cannot read it.
The songs, verses and prose commentaries are built into the app when you install it. The app does not download them and does not need a network connection to show them to you.
Some songs offer a link to listen. Tapping it opens YouTube, either in your web browser or in the YouTube app. Thiruvarutpa does not play or embed the audio itself. From the moment YouTube opens, you are using YouTube, and Google's own privacy policy governs what happens there. Nothing is reported back to the app or to us.
The email link on the About screen opens your own email app, addressed to hello@apjaura.com.
On Android the app lists the internet permission, because the framework the app is built with includes it. The app itself makes no network connections: it has nothing to download and nowhere to send anything. A link you tap opens in YouTube, your browser or your email app, which make their own connections.
When you share a verse, the app passes the text to your device's own sharing panel, or copies it to your clipboard. You choose the destination. The app is not told what you chose.
If you switch on the daily verse, your device schedules that reminder by itself. Nothing is sent to a notification service and no push token is created. Switching the reminder off cancels it.
On Android the app asks for permission to show notifications when you switch the reminder on, and keeps the reminders scheduled after your phone restarts. The reminder can arrive a few minutes after the time you chose, because the app lets your phone pick the moment, which saves battery.
The app is a reader for devotional texts and is suitable for all ages. It collects no information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.

எதுவும் இல்லை. நீங்கள் யார் என்று செயலி கேட்பதில்லை. உங்களைப் பற்றியோ, செயலியை நீங்கள் எவ்வாறு பயன்படுத்துகிறீர்கள் என்பது பற்றியோ எந்தத் தகவலையும் எங்களுக்கோ வேறு யாருக்கோ அது அனுப்புவதில்லை. செயலியிலிருந்து தரவைப் பெறும் சேவையகம் எதையும் நாங்கள் இயக்கவில்லை.
நீங்கள் நிறுத்திய இடத்தையும் உங்கள் விருப்பங்களையும் நினைவில் வைப்பதற்காக, செயலி சிறிதளவு தகவலை உங்கள் சாதனத்தின் சேமிப்பில் வைக்கிறது. இது உங்கள் சாதனத்திலேயே இருக்கும். அதை எங்களால் படிக்க முடியாது.
செயலியை நீக்கிவிட்டால் இவை அனைத்தும் நீங்கிவிடும். உங்கள் சாதன அமைப்புகளிலிருந்தும் இவற்றை எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் அழிக்கலாம்.
உங்கள் தொலைபேசி உங்கள் Google கணக்கிலோ iCloud-இலோ தானாகக் காப்புப் பிரதி எடுத்தால், அந்தக் காப்புப் பிரதியில் இந்த அமைப்புகளும் இடம்பெறலாம். புதிய தொலைபேசிக்கு மீட்டெடுக்கும்போது அவை திரும்ப வரும். அந்தக் காப்புப் பிரதி உங்களுடையது. அதை எங்களால் படிக்க முடியாது.
பதிகங்கள், பாடல்கள், உரைகள் அனைத்தும் நீங்கள் நிறுவும்போதே செயலிக்குள் இருக்கின்றன. செயலி அவற்றைப் பதிவிறக்குவதில்லை. அவற்றை உங்களுக்குக் காட்ட இணைய இணைப்பு தேவையில்லை.
சில பதிகங்களில் கேட்பதற்கான இணைப்பு உள்ளது. அதை அழுத்தினால் YouTube திறக்கும், உங்கள் உலாவியிலோ அல்லது YouTube செயலியிலோ. திருவருட்பா ஒலியைத் தானாக இயக்குவதில்லை. YouTube திறந்த தருணத்திலிருந்து நீங்கள் YouTube-ஐப் பயன்படுத்துகிறீர்கள். அங்கு நடப்பவற்றை Google-இன் சொந்தத் தனியுரிமைக் கொள்கை ஆளுகிறது. அங்கிருந்து செயலிக்கோ எங்களுக்கோ எதுவும் திரும்ப வருவதில்லை.

Android-இல் செயலி இணைய அனுமதியைப் பட்டியலிடுகிறது, ஏனெனில் செயலி உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மென்பொருள் அடித்தளம் அதைத் தானாகச் சேர்க்கிறது. செயலி தானாக எந்த இணைய இணைப்பையும் ஏற்படுத்துவதில்லை: அதற்குப் பதிவிறக்க எதுவும் இல்லை, எதையும் அனுப்ப இடமும் இல்லை. நீங்கள் அழுத்தும் இணைப்பு YouTube-இலோ, உங்கள் உலாவியிலோ, மின்னஞ்சல் செயலியிலோ திறக்கும். அவை தங்கள் சொந்த இணைப்பைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன.
நீங்கள் ஒரு பாடலைப் பகிரும்போது, செயலி அந்த உரையை உங்கள் சாதனத்தின் சொந்தப் பகிர்வுத் திரைக்கு வழங்குகிறது, அல்லது உங்கள் நகலகத்தில் (clipboard) நகலெடுக்கிறது. எங்கு அனுப்புவது என்பதை நீங்களே தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறீர்கள். நீங்கள் எதைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தீர்கள் என்பது செயலிக்குத் தெரிவிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
தினசரி வரியை நீங்கள் இயக்கினால், அந்த நினைவூட்டலை உங்கள் சாதனமே திட்டமிடுகிறது. அறிவிப்புச் சேவை எதற்கும் எதுவும் அனுப்பப்படுவதில்லை; அடையாளக் குறியீடு எதுவும் உருவாக்கப்படுவதில்லை. நினைவூட்டலை நிறுத்தினால் அது ரத்தாகிவிடும்.
Android-இல், நினைவூட்டலை இயக்கும்போது அறிவிப்புகளைக் காட்டச் செயலி அனுமதி கேட்கும். உங்கள் தொலைபேசி மீண்டும் தொடங்கிய பிறகும் நினைவூட்டல்கள் திட்டமிட்டபடியே இருக்கும். பேட்டரியைச் சேமிப்பதற்காகச் சரியான தருணத்தைத் தொலைபேசியே தேர்ந்தெடுப்பதால், நீங்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த நேரத்திலிருந்து சில நிமிடங்கள் கழித்து நினைவூட்டல் வரலாம்.
இது பக்தி நூல்களைப் படிப்பதற்கான செயலி; அனைத்து வயதினருக்கும் ஏற்றது. குழந்தைகள் உட்பட யாரிடமிருந்தும் எந்தத் தகவலையும் இது சேகரிப்பதில்லை.
